I love stones and metals and especially, when the two are combined. My introduction to metal smithing started in high school and was put on pause while my career in technology blossomed. About 15 years ago, I was bit by the bug again and took a few classes. My skills have increased to keep pace with the creative images that come to me all of the time. Recently, I started cutting and polishing raw mined material to make custom cabochons. There is no lack of inspiration where metal or lapidary work are concerned.
